Pustak Parab

Matrubhasha Abhiyan's Pustab Parab (Activity) is a popular project that organizes book fairs across Gujarat. The project has successfully held 182 book fairs in Ahmedabad and other places in Gujarat till now. The Pustab Parab (book fairs) are held on the first Sunday morning of every month. The first book fair was held in October - 2013 and some of the book fairs have completed eleven years on the first Sunday of October 2023. In these eleven years of success, the project has exchanged more than one million and fifty thousand books of quality literature with the help of the book fair functionaries, the donors and the readers. Matrubhasha Abhiyan's Pustab Parab is a project that celebrates the love of reading and literature.

Pustab Parab is a project that aims to promote the culture of reading in the society, to provide quality literature to the people, to connect the new generation with Gujarati literature and to encourage everyone to read more books. Every reader who visits the Pustab Parab can borrow two books at a time, return them after reading or pass them on to other interested readers, or bring them back to the book fair on the first Sunday of the month.
