Dr. Prabhubhai Thakkar was born on October 9, 1950 in Bakhasar, a small village in Tribhet, Rajasthan, on the border of Gujarat, Rajasthan and Pakistan.

He did his primary and high school education at Warahi village in present Patan district. Then in Ahmedabad M. G. B. in 1972 with Botany and Zoology from Science College. S. C. Passed the exam. In ISRO, he did groundwork for the first time in the country by studying archeological sites and studying the reproduction of encroachment in the forest, forest management, and reproduction with the help of satellite images. Sanjay Gandhi in Borivali, Mumbai, found encroachment in the National Park, appeared in the Bombay High Court on behalf of the Maharashtra government and helped win three cases.
